“When you know better, you do better.” – Oprah. One of my favourite quotes.
How often do we dwell on the past, worry about decisions made, mistakes and things in hindsight you’d do very differently now.
Truth is you did the best you thought at the time with the knowledge and experience you had then. We all can look back and beat ourselves up thinking and reliving what we should have done better or differently.
Stop, please. Ease up of yourself. Be kinder, more compassionate and understanding of you and where you may have been at.
And take whatever there is to be learned from every ‘so called’ mistake or failure and build yourself up with this new wisdom and knowledge rather than tear yourself down.
